BIO:
Born and raised in Dublin, Scott began playing and developing his ear for music from an early age. A versatile player and multi instrumentalist, he studied Jazz Drumming and Music Production during which time he honed and polished his skills as a musician, writer and producer. Scott has a restless desire for perfection meaning his work continues to be of the highest standard.
His meticulous approach and attention to detail can be attributed to his time spent with Prince. A dream come true for any musician or producer, Scott witnessed first hand the incredible talent of this legend when he was invited into his world in 2011. Scott was teching for Prince at the time and when he heard Scott sound checking he deemed 'that boy can play'! Following a quick run through in his private dressing room, Scott was called upon to play at 30 plus shows on the European and Canadian tours. From huge scale productions, rehearsals, club shows to the recording studio at Paisley Park, Scott was deeply inspired by Prince's inability to settle for anything other than the absolute best and this is something he carries with him to this day in every aspect of his work.
As a record producer, Scott has the ability to build a track from the ground up, record the main instruments, nurture the artist, and with a vast knowledge of programming and technology, he can single handedly produce a finished mixed product. For years, Scott has worked closely with fellow Irish producer Gavin Glass, churning out a long list of album's and EP's.
Scott specialises in mixing records with over 10 years of experience, In 2013, Scott mixed an Irish number one single, Start Again by the Grand Parade, featuring Jerry Fish, Cathy Davey, Gavin Glass, Mundy and Valerie Francis. Other notable clients are John Grant, Conor O' Brian (Villagers) and Paul Brady.
